The Durango and Dakota are two well known vehicles which run through the streets. But depending on the recent investigation, the officials and experts have found that these popular vehicles have a lot of technical defects and these will injure frequenters in the streets while rushing at the high speed. The Federal Safety Regulators have served an important notice for the recall of The Durango and Dakota for safety of the road. The experienced mechanics have found that these two trucks are defective and the tires either skid off or get deflated.

Recently as a part of pre-emptive measure for giving the maximum protection to the people walking through streets and highways, The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in 2005 has made an official declaration by stating that soon DaimlerChrysler AG will recall 26000 Dodge Durango SUVs for poor maintenance. All these trucks having technical faults like defective and low quality fuel tank. The valve of this tank doesnt work excellently. After much investigation, it has been seen that the valve is not flexible and it is not easily closed after refilling the tank with fuel. This type of technical problem will form an embedded leakage in the valve and in near future there is higher possibility of the explosion or firing due to such fault. So far as the Dodge Durango SUV lawsuits are concerned, those who get injured or wounded for the street accident which is caused by these two vehicles can go to the court for claiming lump sum money as a part of the compensation.

There are many lawyers in America who like to provide the cost free consultation to their clients to gather knowledge about the Dodge Durango SUV related laws. If a person suffers from any physical injury which occurred a long way back due to the defective Durango and Dakota trucks, they are also allowed to file case against the manufacturer of the vehicles. One should hire an efficient attorney to file the lawsuit. Simultaneously, he must be conscious of the deadline or statute of limitation period which is around one year to register the case against the company. Lastly, at the time of appointing a lawyer, one thing should be kept in mind that the opponent party will also hire a legal representative who will be experienced and bold to win the case. The car manufacturing company will try to avoid punishment or paying back the plaintiff. Therefore, guys must select well experienced and powerful lawyers to prosecute the case in the court. His logical aptitude and sharpness of intelligence will be plus point to defeat the accused party.

CBS News says federal safety regulators demanded the Dodge recall after investigating premature wear of the trucks' wheel assembly following numerous reports of the wheels suddenly detaching and flying off.

The investigation was prompted by complaints from drivers around the country. Some Durango drivers were put in dangerous situations when the SUV's front-end ball joints failed.

The company revised earlier statements that the flaw was not serious enough to mandate a safety recall.
